SEAFAST Commercial Program has 4 main activities and capabilities:

Business

Assisting business development, SEAFAST:

Training

• SEAFAST gives training in many areas such as safety, food safety, product development, creating an Indonesian commercial company

• SEAFAST provides pilot plant facilities to train workers

Research

• SEAFAST does research and development in various field, with an emphasis on agriculture products

• SEAFAST Commercial has a pilot plant facility and a laboratory for R&D.

• SEAFAST Commercial has strong connections with Texas A&M University and IPB, as well as with other major universities in USA and Indonesia.

Administration Support

• SEAFAST Commercial program has a strong group of staff,food scientist for research and development, information specialist for collecting, archiving and presenting all information, business manager and marketing specialist to develop business spreadsheet, market survey, and develop business plans, especially for small medium enterprises, accounting and administration staff to handle office accounting and administration system.   

The Main objective of SEAFAST Commercial is to generate income in order to provide the sustainability of the SEAFAST Project.

To generate income, SEAFAST Commercial is partnering with the Indonesian company, PT Universal Mitra Tech (UMT) to produce healthy, good quality natural products such as:

• Soy Milk , Tropical fruit chips , Coconut yogurt , Soy based hot beverage , Natural Isotonic drink.

SEAFAST and PT Universal Mitra Tech have production plants in Manado, Tangerang and Bogor, producing: coconut yoghurt (with brand Yogo Fit, fruit chips (Tropical Fit), isotonic drink (Coco Fit) from coconut water, soy hot beverages (Manado Latte), soy milk (Soy Fit).

SEAFAST Commercial,in doing it's activities, always respects local values and government regulations and is willing to work with local entities as well as local companies.
